Pressure cooker:

  1. Wash and pierce potato 3-4 times with a fork and place in cooker.
  2. Add about 1-inch deep of water.
  3. Pressure cook on high for 1 whistle, then reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and wait for pressure to settle on its own before removing potatoes.
  5. Remove and place potato in cold water immediately to easily remove skin.

Microwave:

  1. Wash and pierce potato 3-4 times with a fork.
  2. Wrap each potato with a wet kitchen towel and place in microwave.
  3. Cook on high power for 7-10 mins or until cooked.
  4. Check in between and if the towel feels dry then add more water to it.
  5. Remove and place potato in cold water immediately to easily remove skin.

Steam:

  1. Wash and pierce potato 3-4 times with a fork.
  2. Add sufficient water to the steamer.
  3. Place the potatoes in the steamer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them over once in between.
  4. Remove and place potato in cold water immediately to easily remove skin.

In a pot:

  1. Bring sufficient water to a boil in a deep pot.
  2. Wash and pierce potato 3-4 times with a fork.
  3. Place potatoes in the boiling water, making sure they are submerged fully.
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes or till they feel soft to touch.
  5. Remove and place potato in cold water immediately to easily remove skin.
